End of Hunt Sketches

It's that time.  The Scavenger Hunt is rolling over to the next one.  These are my "end" to the Hunt.

These are in the ArtStreet sketchbook with the Ohuhu pens.  A quick way to start my day.

Number 8 something you do today - coffee and vanilla wafers

Well, the Longhorns started out just like last year.  Losing their first game to Arkansas (3-2) and the second to Missouri (6-5).  The third game this morning is against Vanderbuilt.  Hope they can pull one win off.  The team has a lot of new players.  They played well  and lost by only one run.  Sigh...

They are playing in Arlington at Globe Life Field so are inside at 72º F.  so at least they weren't "cold" in the weather.  The Horns did make it to the College World Series last year after the shaky start so here's hoping!

I will listen on the radio via internet.  Craig Way, Keith Moreland and Roger Wallace do such a good job.  I could stream the game on FloSports but they want $29.99 a month.  Yikes.  We already pay about $100 a month for TV and another $100 for internet.  I will have to upgrade TV to a sports package to watch the "free" Longhorn Network for the home games about f$30 a month more.  Hook 'em Horns!!

Good finish to the last hunt! I love how we are paying for so many things that once were free. No wonder so many people have just given up on cable TV. I know our bill is outrageous.

I think Jo it is so wonderful you participate in this sketching regime. You always find the best subjects even in the ordinary to capture. Hope you have a lovely Sunday. Hugs!

Joan, thanks so much. Yep, I guess the TV folks have fewer customers now so make it up on us that are behind in the tech world. Ha.

Debbie, thank you. The Hunts have kept me going and you are so right about sketching what is right in front of us. I loved your last flower sketch.

Nice freehand sketches

ashok, thanks. Sometimes I sketch and wouldn't post except for the Scavenger Hunts. Sketchbooks used to be sort of private. Ha.
