Yep, another dentist visit. Teeth cleaning yesterday. Gene and I go together so I had a while in the waiting room which is unusual. We never have to wait long at all. The office runs smoothy. Everyone there is smiling and happy to be at work. Such a welcoming place. Spring Street Dental on Chestnut Street in the old train depot which is so nice now.
I had time to sketch for Scavenger Hunt from Life #57

Number 4, indoor furniture - the bench is five sections long, apparently a bench left over from the depot.
Number 5, something with two feet - one of the patients. We don't wait long so had to hurry to be sure to get it in before she was called. Made it. Whew.
Number 6, free space - captured the corner of the Lost Pines Art Center across the street. It is beautiful with rock, siding and tin roofs. The letters are metal with the pine tree cutouts behind them.
I sketched in the Ohuhu 10 x 7.6 Mix media sketchbook with the Micron 03. I added the watercolor about 1030 last night. Needed something relaxing. Watercolor is not as relaxing as pastels, but seemed to work.

UT Baseball starts tonight in Arlington. The Longhorns play Arkansas to start the tournament. It will be very cool starting about 52º F and going down to 42º or so. Not fun. I will try to listen on the radio via internet. See how it goes. Hook 'em Horns!

I’m glad you were able to squeeze some fun sketches in.
And, hook ‘em, Horns!

You had time for a fair amount of detail. I like the headless lady!
Joan, that was such a surprise that the lady sat for a while. Your comment made me laugh out loud. Ha.
Joanna, thanks. It was good to get sketching in. Longhorns lost but it was a good game. Hook 'em!
Good sketch.. You made good use of the waiting time :)
ashok, thank you so much. My friend Sue bought my first small sketchbook about 15 or more years ago and encouraged me to sketch when waiting any place.
