None of these things go together very well, right? They are items on the Scavenger Hunt from Life list for Hunt Number 40. I try to find things I haven't sketched before, but not so easy. These are mostly repeats.
For Scavenger Hunt from Life Number 40https://creativespark.art/threads/scavenger-hunt-from-life-40-sep-28-oct-6.4482/
Number 5 organic - part of the Loblolly pine tree by the storage sheds.
Number 6 money - Gene's money clip and some change.
These are in the Art Street Sketchbook, a regular paper size (8.5 x 11 inches) with pretty good paper. Not good for markers or very wet watercolor as the color bleeds through. I bought it at a dollar type store when I forgot my sketchbook a while back. It is fine for ink. I used a Micron 08 for these two sketches. It is wearing a little so sort of makes broken lines, perfect for the tree.
These two sketches are in the same sketchbook but with a Micron 03 pen. All were done on the porch, where else? Quickly, free hand.
Number 7, youth person - substituted the chatty lady walkers that go by every morning. I can't see their faces from the porch so just put some marks.
Number 8, egg or fancy egg dish - the last of my egg sandwich and the shell
I was tempted to sketch the sandwich in pastels to show the texture of the whole wheat bread and color, but I am not an egg eater and the sandwich would have been wasted if it sat that long before eating. I like eggs with spice and cheese to cover the taste and eat quickly before it gets cold.
Gene likes hard boiled eggs and fried eggs. He loves deviled eggs and egg salad sandwiches. I can eat egg salad once in a great while, again very fresh.
You can read about my experience with Easter eggs on this post:

How about you, do you like eggs?

I like eggs but not hard boiled and not egg salad. It would have to be the only thing being offered for me to pick either. Nice sketches. I haven't been around any kids for this hunt so I may do a substitution.
Joan, thank you so much. Yes, I haven't seen kids either and probably won't. Good to see you, busy lady.
Eggs are good with bacon, sausage, or chorizo. I eat eggs, but I hear you on the Easter egg thang. I think a few got left in the basket with the other candy and hidden from my brothers for too long. Not to mention the egg often had the hint of whatever color it was dyed. Such a strange custom.
bag blog, right. I like eggs mixed with other things. I had a good quiche yesterday. I can live without hardboiled eggs.
