Hunting a Person

We walked this morning.  I took the sketchbook in case I could find one of the items from the Hunt.  I have sketched the scenes so many times for colorful, etc.  The playground is interesting but not today.  No kids there.  Then we spied the fisherman.

Number 10, person - fisherman in the travel sketchbook with a Micron 03.  He was a good distance away so no detail.

We were farther away than this, I zoomed in.  The ponds are going down in this dry weather.  The water should be almost to the trees when full.  That walkway is the top of the dam.

In 2011 when we moved in the ponds were dry.  We are hoping the hot drought is not that bad this year.  The forecast is not good.

Nice sketch of the fisherman. I hope you guys get some rain and some relief from the heat soon.

Thanks, Joan. One of the homework sketches. Ha. Heat relief may be a ways off. We just got water restrictions on the 12th. Sigh....

Jo - what a great job with the Fisherman. I always think drawing people in proportion, etc. is such a challenge. Know what it means to need rain and so I will be praying you get some soon. We too have been dry for the last three weeks but did get a few showers this weekend. Really helps the garden. Had to smile about your previous post regarding the triangle. Your eatable solution was just perfect...who can resist a piece of pie. Take care friend and stay cool. Hugs!

Debbie, hi there. Thank you. Rain is certainly needed and not in the forecast. Maybe our friend will write a song about the triangle pie. :-)
