Lazy Sketching

Basically I have turned into a lazy sketcher.  I put up my items for the Scavenger Hunt, got the big book on my foot-stool and turned on the TV.  A more determined or dedicated sketcher would have started with pencil to get the perspective right and no TV.  Not my way.  I dive in, sketch rapidly, freehand with a pen.  That is how it goes.

Number 3, step-stool and Number 4, canned fool

This is in the big book with the Lamy pen.  You know I like red, right?

I was going to make a link to the Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma City.  They are having a big show.  I opened the page and they are showing only 3 pieces at a time and the least expensive painting for today was $14,000.  That is rediculous.  That cuts out entries by 95% of artists at least, don't you think?  There may be some paintings for less, but I'm not checking in daily to find out.  They could let us see a few more paintings than 3.   Bah, humbug!

This squirrel was relaxing on the porch of Gracie's where we had lunch a couple of days ago.  I was going to sketch it, but off it went before I got started.  Pretty cute.

I wouldn't say your a lazy sketcher, a lazy sketcher wouldn't participate in the hunts almost every month
the squirrel looks hot and has had enough of the heat lol

Jennifer Rose, thank you so much. Our daughter, Joanna, says the squirrels do lay like that to cool off. You are right!
