De Ja Vu New Hunt

It's dé jà vu all over again as Yogi Berra said.  We have a new Scavenger Hunt again since my last post.  Wow.  Nine days just flew past.  Not really, I am still feeling stuck .. all days seem the same.

Out on the porch with Macron 02.

Longhorn cattle by the airport.

On Wednesday we drove out to see the Thunderbirds fly over for the Austin American Strong responders.  So wonderful to see them.  No good photos but Joanna and Larry got some nice ones.  We were by the airport and we saw them go east across the highway then circle back directly over us. Amazing the beauty of the formation.  Thanks to America Strong.

Yesterday I took the day off from the computer.  I read, did puzzles in a book not my computer or phone, and watched an old Inspector Morse on Youtube on my iPhone.   I may do the same today for the rest of today as well.  See all y'all soon.

Cool sketches both today and yesterday, Jo. I like the inclusion of the window frame (is that to commemorate staying home during this plague?) and the detail in both. And the longhorns are beautiful animals--most people don't realize that Florida has a number of cattle ranches in the interior, but no longhorns. Stay well and stay sane.

Hi Mary, great to hear from you. That is the screened in porch railing rather than a window. No commemorations of this time in my world. In Texas you get an agriculture exemption on taxes if you raise cattle, so some big property owners keep a few longhorns for that reason. These were sure a nice example of the horns.

Sometimes you just need a break and I think procrastinating is a necessity at times. Nice sketch with the railing!

Thanks, Joan. Hope you get some procrastinating time. You are so busy and extra things to do now. Thinking of you, thanks for taking time to visit here. Hugs.

I was jealous that you got to see the Thunderbirds. They are fun to watch.

I like the longhorn photo, too, as well as the sketches. And the procrastination quote is very much like us.

sometimes we need days where we just shut off, we actually should do that more then we do. :)

Bag Blog, The planes are so inspiring and beautiful. It was sad to see that one of the Canadian Snowbirds crashed the other day and killed a female pilot in their flyovers.
I find all the procrastination stuff I can ... excuses!

Jennifer Rose, yep. Escape from the world days can be great.

I love the sketch by the window, Jo. I think I'm getting tired of looking out of mine. lol My husband is home from working at the airport...2 days instead of 5. He said its like a ghost town... hopefully things will get back to norm soon.
I've been on my computer and frankly, Its time to do what you do...shut it down for a few days. hmmmmm, I wonder if I can do it... talk about a challenge..lol
Enjoy the rest of the day, Jo. I'm going to paint!!!

hmuxo, crazy isn't it? We basically do the same thing as always because we are retired, but it seems more restricted even here at home. I was out on the screened in porch for the sketch. I have sketched that view many times in almost nine years. Thanks. Good luck on your challenge!
