Souvenir Last Sketch for 629

A last sketch for Scavenger Hunt 629  http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1479981

The item list included "wallet or purse" and "souvenir".  The list was to associate items, like from purse - money - shopping - store - groceries and pick one of the associations in the middle.  Too much thinking for my poor brain, so I just sketched the actual items.  At a time like this I like very precise lists like wallet, souvenir, coin, tree, nose, etc.  Sometimes items are like exciting, fun, exotic, old, new, etc.  Today that requires too much thinking!

Number 4, purse - I bought for Christy's wedding.  Black with white polkadots.
Number 5, souvenir - little jars of honey from Christy's wedding.  A navy blue ribbon on one and a silver ribbon on the other.

Christy is our granddaughter married to Nick.  The local honey was so good.  They gave us a big jar so these little ones remain unopened.

You can put Christy in the search box at the top left of my blog and find wedding photos, birthday photos and more.

Hope everyone gets back to work soon.  It is a risk but just driving to work is a bigger risk.   If folks don't work we won't have anything to buy.  Stay safe!

Nice treasures all having to do with the wedding! Once again I didn't get much done for the hunt. I think I'm cleaning and organizing too much. lol

Thank you, Joan. I should be cleaning, well, organizing and throwing stuff out but mostly being a couch potato.

even if I had a 'job' I would not be going back to work, not worth the risk. i get that the economy is suffering but it has just made me realize how very commercial our society has become :/ profits over life :(

Jennifer Rose, we need a good economy to eat and stay healthy I think. We are lucky to be able to stay home. We need someone to grow, package and deliver food. Anyway, I miss eating out and having people wait on me. Very spoiled. Ha.

A black and white polka-dotted purse! You are always a surprise.

It is time to go back to work. We flattened the curve, but it is still possible to get the virus. Be cautious. But we will cripple our country if we don't get back to spending and consuming and traveling. Things are really bad. I don't watch mainstream news, but this should be blaring, and it is not.

Bag Blog, I love polka dots. Haven't had many clothes but I wore a black pant suit with polka dot blouse and accessories. Bling was popular so I had black, white and silver bling. Strange for me for sure.

I agree on opening up. Gov. Abbott here is giving his plan today. We take a greater risk getting in our car every day, we need to risk work. I also think we will lose our immunity to everyday things and will end up succumbing from a cold or infection from a paper cut. Sigh.
