Yesterday and today I sketched with the Pilot fountain pen in the big coffee table book. I sketched very quickly to get my "homework" out of the way.

Number 7, lazy corner - the corner where I sketch.
Number 8, from the kitchen - squeezer for citrus, large so I can squeeze grapefruit.
It is wintery here and so gloomy and cool. Yesterday was great, Gene got in a trike ride.
Rainy out and cloudy. Not my kind of day.
This was before the rain. The little oak tree on the left refuses to let it's leaves drop, very stubborn.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Your sketches are great. The chair with footrest is especially a fav. I also enjoyed seeing your still life. I prefer to paint from life too.
Hi, Julie, Thanks for visiting and commenting. I hope to meet up with you in New Mexico one of these days. I love your work, too. I miss New Mexico when we aren't there and your paintings take me home.
Those lying weathermen said it would be warm all week and really bad on Saturday. It was cold and dreary all week and today is cold, but not too bad.
Nice sketches. Glad you are doing your homework!!! lol Looks like not the best weather, but better than what we are expecting. I"m not looking forward to below freezing temperatures.
It looks like the perfect day to sketch Jo. Very nice work as always. The weather here in NY is rain turning to ice...so yes, the perfect time to stay indoors and sketch. Enjoy your day.
Bag Blog, those lying weathermen!! It was not as cool as they said on Saturday but too windy for Gene to ride. Supposed to be cooler all week.
Joan, thanks, I do keep sketching. Sometimes poorly. I cannot imagine your cold, I feel for you.
hmuxo, thanks so much. Brrrr. Hope you keep power, etc. Enjoy your day, too.
