I'm hosting. I almost forgot to post the list. I evidently closed the reminder on my calendar, if I had put one on, which I usually do. I chose one word song titles, a quick way to come up with the list.
In case you want to lurk or sketch along:
Scavenger Hunt #547: June 26- July 4
I thought one word song titles from the 50s-60s would be fun:
Wanted - Perry Como - 1954 - something new you had wanted for a while
Tequila - The Champs - 1958 - or other beverage (not coffee or tea, see below)
Honey - Bobby Goldsboro - 1968 - or other sweetner
Butterfly - Andy Williams - 1957 - or other insect
Yesterday - The Beatles - 1965 - something from memory from yesterday
Calcutta - Lawrence Welk - 1961 - or something from travels
Cherish - The Association - 1966 - a cherished item
Downtown - Petula Clark - 1965 - something from your town, view or keepsake
Donna - Ritchie Valens - 1959 - or other person
Greenfields - The Brothers Four - 1960 - landscape
Raindrops - Dee Clark - 1961 - or other water
Lollipop - The Chordettes - 1958 - or food treat
Hair - The Cowsills - 1969
Jambalaya - Jo Stafford - 1951 - or other food
Silhouettes - The Rays - 1958
Reflections - Diana Ross and the Supremes - 1967
Fire - The Crazy World of Arthur Brown - 1968
Something - The Beatles - 1969 - free choice
Maybellene - Chuck Berry - 1955 - or makeup, lotion
Wheels - The String-A-Longs - 1961
People - Barbra Streisand - 1964
Java - Al Hirt - 1964 - coffee or tea
Pipeline - The Chantays - 1963 - maybe under sink
Tiger - Fabian - 1959 - or other cat
Still - Bill Anderson - 1963 - still life
Problems - The Everly Brothers - 1958 - something you find hard to sketch
A challenge is to finish or at least sketch something!
Have fun!!
I sketched in the big book with Prismacolor marker/pens and added some colored pencils. I was sidetracked by something and didn't get my sketches posted for yesterday.
Number 1, Jambalaya - substitute Tony's Creole seasoning.
Number 2, Tequila - a weird brand that is clear in a clear bottle. I thought it was vodka when I saw it.
