Hunt 490 Sketches Continued

I can't give up on my sketching.  It does keep me writing in this journal of sorts.  If I didn't sketch, I might not post here, and this is the closest thing to a diary that I have ever done.  It has helped me remember dates and happenings.  It is also a record of my sketches, paintings, classes, etc.

I sketched in the big book with the Micron 01.

Number 2, hanging plant - the old geranium.  It made it through our mild winter in the house and on the porch.  Now it looks brown and beaten down even though it has one bunch of blooms.  The other one in the pot did not make it.  Normal for my non-green thumb.

Number 3, cushion - on one of the dining room chairs.  It is a red plaid of sorts.  Most of my kitchen is red with blue and white or off white things in it.

There is a good article on FASO faso.com about using/stealing/copying other artists for learning:

FASO is a great place for artists to have their websites.  It also has info for buying and selling art.  Something for everyone.

Like Jennifer, I thought the perspective on the cushion was interesting and difficult. You did a great job.

PS. I went to the link. Last summer I read "Steal Like an Artist." You know me; I am a thief.

Jennifer Rose, the cushion looked bumpy before I put in the plaid. Oh well. Thanks.

Bag Blog, perspective was just because it was there! Lazy me. I thought you would like that article! I'm afraid to copy much, as it wouldn't look the same, eh? Sigh....
