It is Jennie's and Brandon's one year anniversary today! Woohoo! Congratulations! We love having Brandon in our family.

Only two more days before Hunt 451 http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1405511 is over. Where have I been? What have I been doing? The answers are nowhere and nothing.
I'm
still having difficulty in painting and working on my art. Maybe the
answer is to just play with my art. Read what John P. Weiss has to say
on FASO. He is an interesting painter. Check him out as well. He was a
policeman. (I think that is like a Marine: once a policeman, always a
policeman.) Links in this post.

Number 1, brilliant color - of course, the geranium. I sketched on my iPad with Brushes and my fingers.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Nice digi of the flower. I think sometimes when we stop painting it is just so very hard to get into the groove again. You get out of the habit and just can't get back. Hope it passes soon.
Happy anniversary to Jennie and Brandon. Someone should throw a party.
Good link on painting! I especially like the calling for backup.
Joan, thank you. You definitely know the feeling. I need to start doing it and just have fun. Sigh.....
Bag Blog, they took some time off but we haven't seen them yet. :) See how it goes. I guess you are my backup! Hope to see you soon.
Happy anniversary to them both!
Thanks, Jennifer Rose! So far, so good. :)
Yep, Brandon has been a great addition to our family. :-)
Love the geranium!
Hi, Joanna! Thank you.
