At Last, Back to Sketching

We went to the Big 12 Baseball Tournament in Oklahoma City so last week was a bust for art.

I am hosting Scavenger Hunt 453 http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1406380
so thought I had better get a sketch done.  It is hard to get started when you don't sketch every day.

I sketched in the big sketchbook with a Micron 05.  I sat on the chair in our bedroom and sketched.

Number 1, bed pillows
Number 2, foot - foot of the bed is better than my foot.  Ha.

We decided to go to the tournament at the last minute and in the excitement I forgot to post my sketch from Hunt 451.  Then I just missed Hunt 452 completely.  I haven't done that very often.

Number 2, too little to fit on your head and Number 3, deck of cards.
I chose this little plastic hat from the Albuquerque Isotopes and deck of cards from our train ride in Antonito, Colorado, to Chama, New Mexico.

It is a scenic and fun ride to take.

This is how much room the sketchbook takes on my footstool on the porch.  I haven't made a dent in it yet!

More about our trip to Oklahoma City soon......

Wow! That is a big sketch book.

It was good to see you as always. Next time we will paint. Famous last words.

Bag Blog, it is a big book. I figure about a 5 year project. Whew! Fun visit and thank you all for a great evening.

the sketchbook makes the foot stool look small ;)

Jennifer Rose, thanks. The sketchbook idea is daunting. Maybe I will get it done!

Love the foot sketch! Too clever. :-)

Ha, Joanna. Every time we have foot, I sketch something other than mine. I think I did sketch my foot once with a sock on it. Ha.
