Walk in the Park, New Landscape Pastel Painting for February First Friday Art Walk

Finally, as promised a new pastel painting. I painted this pastel landscape in my studio from photo references and my good old memory.  I was at the park with Sue Modrak and we painted down on the riverwalk path.  It was a gorgeous day.  Those good memories inspired this painting.

First Friday is an opportunity to meet the artists, check out downtown businesses, have a fine dinner at a local restaurant and listen to music.  Art of any media and style is available to purchase.

The First United Methodist Church of Bastrop, 1201 Main Street, offers PARENTS NIGHT OUT child care from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for First Friday Art Walk.  Infant through 5th grade.  Cost $15 for the first child and $5 for each additional sibling.  Call 512 321-2201 to reserve your space.  Reservations required.
