That is a trick question. In this case it is me and my blog! I had so many ideas of things to post and by the time to post is here, I have changed my mind.
So for the chairs and trees, these are sketches for Scavenger Hunt 288. They were done out on the porch with the Prismacolor Premier 08 pen. I sketched them quickly and freehand as is normal for me. The last tree was done from the guest bedroom, actually. I sat on the bed and that is all the tree I could see. It was hot out and I did not want any mosquito bites.
Number 1, chair - with a challenge to sketch 3 different chairs or seats.
Number 2, tree - with a challenge to sketch 3 or more different trees.
I changed out my art at the Bastrop Fine Arts Guild Gallery when we got back and don’t think I ever posted the change. Stop in the Gallery some time, 1009 Main Street. There is a variety of work and artists. Nice to support the local artists. A good time for that is on First Friday. The next one is Friday, November 2. I have these paintings at the Guild Gallery and will have some down at the Tuck and Kizer Law Group, Honest Lawyers, 906 Main Street in historical downtown Bastrop, Texas. I hope to see you there. More information on my webpage.
These longhorns hang out between here and Bastrop. There is ony one place to stop and they are never close to that point it seems. It was nice that they cooperated the other day. Aren’t they so neat??

Isn't it good to be able to post to the hunts again? Nice sketches and paintings. Do you miss having your own gallery space?
Joan, hi there. I do like to post to the Hunts. Love visiting with the artists, including you.
I miss having the gallery for showing and mingling but I do not miss having to go every day. It is a lot like a job. Ha. I really like the interaction with people and art talk, so I know I will have a good time on November 2.
Very nice sketches!
F.E.L., hi. Thank you so much for visiting and commenting. You do beautiful detailed sketches, making records of your world. Gracias.
