New Mexico Enchanted Circle Trip Photos

We went to golf at Valle Escondido between Angel Fire and Taos.  We then went into Taos for  a shopping stop for bicycle gear for Gene.  Then we decided to go to Red River for a late lunch.  We had excellent steaks at Texas Reds and then came back via Eagle Nest.  I took over 100 photos.  This slide show has the best.  You can click on it to make it larger.  Then click on full screen in the upper left.  If you go to my public photo albums on  Picasa from the slide show you can view other photos and slide shows from our New Mexico photos in previous years.

Did you see my pastel portrait of a cowboy at Texas Red's? The cowboy is a friend of mine whose in-laws own Red's. The original TR's burned down several years ago and lots of good art work was lost in the fire. I gave them my painting after the fire.

Mike Hearne from Taos is a great musician, if you get a chance to hear him while you are in the area. He wrote a song called New Mexico Rain. Your photos were reminders of that. Thanks for sharing = making me homesick again.

Valerie, thank you. It is great here and 54degrees to boot!

Hi Bag Blog, no we did not see your painting. Drat. We will have to look around more next time we go in there. We will watch for Mike Hearne, too.

Thanks, Joanna. Not too many blurry ones. Ha.

Barbara, thank you. I hope to paint some of them. It has been fun to do plein air here.
