If you are in the Bastrop area, my preview show is Friday, July 2, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at 1009 Main Street in historical downtown Bastrop, Texas. Refreshments will be served.
There is so much going on. Besides my show with my new paintings for New Mexico, Judy Hawes will have new paintings and jewelry, too. The artists across the street are open including Lea Cundy's Blue Donkey Studio pottery, Marc Cundy's jewelry and so much more. The Bastrop Fine Arts Guild features Karol Rice and her photographs, "Red White and Blue Thangs".
Several restaurants are open .. Cedar's Mediterranean Grill (a favorite of ours - a few blocks away but so good run by Raymond Keyrouz), Grace Miller's, Baxters, Maxine's, and more. The Bastrop Chorus and Orchestra are performing at the Lumberyard with patriotic music at 7:30 p.m. and there is always live music at Grace Miller's and Maxines. So you can meet and greet the artists and buy art, dine and have live music. What more can you ask?
Hope to see you there!
Then we pack up and head for New Mexico, as the card says. My show there is July 9, 10 and 11. It is always fun at Old Timers in Magdalena. It has been super hot here, so we are ready to head for the mountains. Maybe we will see you in New Mexico.
You can keep up with us here and the calendar above. You can preview the paintings on my web page under Galleries, Peppers Art Gallery. I don't have them all up yet! Gene doesn't even have them framed yet .. what was I thinking? (That is playing on my iTunes now, very appropriate.)
