I am a painter working in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States.
This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.
So sorry to report, the Horns lost today in the Super Regional to TCU, 3-1. Texas had only 3 hits. It was a pitchers duel of sorts. TCU had 7 hits and 1 error. Another day tomorrow. Reports on the Longhorn official site and Joanna's Longhorn Baseball Page. I took a few photos. The main excitement was Kevin Keyes lone home run.
Kevin coming around third when he hit is home run.
Kevin near home plate.
Kevin making his curtain call in the edge of the dugout, Number 29.
And the sad score with Kevin's photo.
I always like to see the giant flags at the car dealers, this is the Ford place on Hwy 71.
And this is the Chevy place closer to Bastrop.
Tomorrow is another day. Hope the Horns can get their winning form back.
I Grew up in a small town , Magdalena, New Mexico. I enjoy art and the pleasure other people get from my work. I always donate some of my sales and art to charities, especially for children. That started in Bolivia with Para los Niños. (Link on sidebar)
