Drawing Video

Today I sketched, but do not have them ready to post. You can pop over to Joanna's blog, where she posted a cool video of Milton Glaser drawing.

I also added a new blog roll way down my page that link to the blogs that everyone links to. Reason being that I sometimes forget to look at my blog reader and skip these, so I will have a handy reminder.

Even as I add blogs to my blog roll, I really need to cut back on reading blogs. I really enjoy it and get so much out of it, but should be working on my own art. You can read about this on Lori Woodward's Simmon's post on Fine Art Views. So I forgive you if you don't stop by and comment very often .... if you are an artist. :)

On Lori's blog, her most recent post is great, too, about having a bad day, with a blog post by Christine Kane. I really needed this lately, too. I haven't been feeling very artsy.

Sometimes you just have to get started and that will get you going, hope it works, I am about ready to start the pastel 12 x 24 inch painting. I got the sketch on.

I'm going to try to check my e-mail only 3 times a day, so if you need me, better use the phone where you might have to leave a message. Ha. I plan on limiting my reading time to only at night.

We shall see.

I'm sorry you've been feeling a bit out of sorts Jo. This time of year...knowing it is all about to get incredibly busy...it's a hard time to focus.

I'm actually trying to rethink my reading time as well...I read an awful lot of blogs! I'm thinking I need to cut down on online stuff as well - a morning and evening check, something like that. It's still rolling around in my mind, but I'm considering it.

Thanks, Rose. As I say, I'm sure if I just get started I will do just fine. Oops, I'm reading midday. Off my new schedule already. :)
