Plein air on a Unicycle! Yikes.

Wow, something new every day. Hard enough to ride the cycle or to paint and both at the same time. My smile for the day.

This (clarifying Sept. 24, the Unicycle Artist) was pointed out to us on wetcanvas in the Plein Air Forum by Michael Chesley Johnson.

While visiting the Plein Air Forum, I read a post by Frank Edwards. I just love his plein air pieces. He always seems to have some red in just the right places. I don't think I have told you all about him. Have a look, you will appreciate his style, too.

** After Bag Blog's comment (see comments, she went to a workshop with Steve, go have a look) about Steve Rogers, I looked him up and I do like his watercolors. Another artist to check out.

After watching the plein aire/unicyclist rolling around on the ground, I have stopped laughing, maybe I can type. I have enough trouble riding a two-wheeler; I cannot imagine trying to paint too.

The Frank Edwards paintings remind me of the Steve Rogers' watercolors - lots of color. I posted some of Steve's paintings while I was at his workshop last week. He will be in Austin some time next year.

Heh, heh, Bag Blog. It is a crazy idea to ride and paint. Wow.

I'll check out Steve Rogers. Thanks.

Where did you find this? That concept will take a while to digest. Guess the unicyclist-artist life wasn't challenging enough before...
I really loved Steve Roger's water! It's beautiful. I admire just about all watercolor artists - not an easy medium.

Hi Regina, Boy those painters are something. I saw it on wetcanvas in the Plein Air Forum, Michael Chesley Johnson found it. Link above, I didn't make it too clear....

Roger's watercolors are great. Bag Blog, Lou, was lucky to get to his workshop.
