A sketch with double duty again. I sketched in the
Art House sketchbook with the idea of using it for
Scavenger Hunt 142 as well. Works for me.

Number 4, something of the season. Hummingbirds at Gene's feeder on the balcony. Freehand with a Micron 05 pen. For "Thinking of You" it reminds me of Gene and his Mom. Mom Frances always liked watching the birds at her feeders in Magdalena. In Albuquerque, she has no bird feeders as she is in an assisted living apartment. She does get to watch the cottontail rabbits much of the time. They don't have the competitive attitude that the birds have so not as entertaining.
My art connection for the day is a gallery. You can sign up for a newsletter from the
Xanadu Gallery. They have on-line seminars for artists, some are free. Yesterday evening, I attended a thirty minute seminar about how to organize your inventory. It was helpful with a lot of information crammed into the thirty minutes. They also host websites for artists with an opportunity to have work in their main Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona. Interesting site.

The hummingbirds in OK are just not as colorful as the ones in NM, but they are always fun to watch.
These sketches are a lot of fun, Jo, full of detail and movement. I'm impressed, too, at all the hummers; we only get one at a time at our feeder. What's the secret?
Bag Blog, the hummers are beautiful. The Rufus are so orange and mean. Heh, heh.
Susan, thanks. We counted 12 at one feeder the first day. We have two up. There aren't many flowers around town, maybe that is why they flock to the feeders. Just a guess.
