Winner of Shiver, by Maggie Stiefvater

Can you believe it? I won a signed audio book, Maggie Stiefvater's new "Shiver". Pretty darned cool. Joanna is jealous, but I will get her a copy, too. (Because I want to and Gene said to!)

Maggie is one of the hardest working procrastinators that I know! She has been an inspiration as an artist and reminded us all that organization and hard work pay off.

You can read her old blog, Greywaren Art, Maggie Stiefvater - Author & Artist, and find all the wonderful "how to" articles on painting and information about organization and motivation. She is living proof that it works. Maggie is young, a mother with small kiddies and a hardworking policeman for a husband. She cooks from scratch and cares for her animals, too. She was also on dial-up internet for ages, don't know about now. She is a muscian and writes music. Oh my, I can go on and on.

You can learn all about her career as an author on her new page (new to us that followed her as an artist).

Please check out this wonderful author/artist .. you will not be dissapointed in any way. I thouroughly enjoyed her first book, Lament. I bought it because it was by Maggie and enjoyed it because it was good! It is geared toward young readers so I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much .. I tend to read mysteries and police stories.

This is NOT A PAID ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Congratulations to Maggie!!

How fun Jo!! I have always admired Maggie so much. I was just telling Dustin about her the other day. She's quite an inspiration.
