After the rain yesterday and this morning the sun came out and the games were on. The Longhorns prevailed and won both games of the double header. There was lots of discussion and controversy in the first game. You can read about it on Joanna's Longhorn Baseball Page. I could never explain it. The official accounting is on the Longhorn Baseball page. Greg Swindell was honored today retiring his number 21 in between the games. And .. neither Joanna or I took a camera today. Sad. There are a snippet of photos on the official site, look under Multimedia at the top of the page in a drop down menu.
Lou, Bag Blog, that comments on my blog regularly is in Austin for a wedding. The weather was so awful yesterday, I am happy that it improved for the big day! She and I have enjoyed our blogging friendship with Lubbock and New Mexico stories to exchange. She paints mostly in watercolors and tells a good story. Our niece, Jayme, was married today in Albuquerque. Hope that went well, she would be a beautiful bride. Best wishes, Jayme!

fishing guy, thank you. The Horns need all the support they can get. They do seem to be getting together and working as a team now. Many new players this year.
