Scavenger Hunt 128 is underway. It seems like 127 was up only a couple of days. Time flies when you are having fun ..... or are very busy. Tonight I used a Lamy pen (blue), Micron 005 (brown), Uniball Vision Micro (red) and a new Prismacolor Premier 03 Fine Line Marker (green). We each got a Prismacolor pen/marker at the last Austin Pastel Meeting. Pretty nice and they come in many colors. I forgot to mention that we got some Nupastel samples, an eraser, and a pencil. I won a door prize of a big set of 96 Nupastel. Is that cool or what? Thanks to Shelley Minnus, with Prismacolor, for coming to Austin from Dallas for a demo for our meeting.

Number 1, Something you have had for 10 years or more. A glass jar I use for granola. Boy, about anything in my kitchen or house for that matter is 10 years plus in age. Number 2, bottle. I looked for an interesting bottle and found this Coke bottle from Bolivia made into a pitcher. It is about a 1 1/2 liter bottle. I also had about 8 glasses made from the small Coke bottles. I may have one of those stuck in a corner somewhere, they were so cute. I think they held 6 - 8 ounces.

Number 3, pair. I cheated tonight and used the cards to get straight lines. Just too lazy. I sketched this evening after 24 was over. Addicted to that show. Tsk, tsk, as Joanna
would say.
I might as well use Joanna for my link for today. She takes wonderful photos and posts a very few on her
JoJo's Photobox, as you all know. She posted one for me today of tree trunk art. Joanna writes well, too. You can read all about the Longhorn Baseball team on her
Joanna's Longhorn Baseball Page. Her regular web page,
Joanna.org, which she has had for many years is full of humor and items of interest. If you don't know, Joanna is our oldest daughter.

Congrats on winning the Nupastels! Love the coke bottle/pitcher... what a neat idea!
Good work on the glass items, which are hard in any medium. Wow - your cards came out great! And I love looking at Joanna's photos - just wonderful!
Hi Teresa, thank you so much. I will have to photograph the pitcher and the one glass I have left. The small coke bottles were so cute.
Regina, thanks. Glass is interesting to paint, harder to sketch for me. Difficult to distinguish between the dark glass and actual shadows.
Great that you won the doorprize! I think the only thing I've ever won were tickets to a Paul Anka concert.
Joan, I was so surprised! There were several door prizes and that was the "biggest". Lucky me!
Jo: Craftsman in Bolivia are very talented, love the bottle pitcher.
fishing guy, the people there are so adept at using everything on hand. They have many beautiful and unusual handicrafts and art works. Thank you.
