Wildlife painting, watercolor, realism .. wow

I was checking on Google Image search for some of my paintings and put in "cactus painting". One of mine came up but another cactus pear caught my eye and I went to Rebecca Latham's blog. I scrolled down and saw photos of a powwow and then a wolf, so continued to scroll. Wait a minute ... the wolf is a watercolor painting, not a photo. Wow! Rebecca notes that the detail doesn't really show up in her photo of the painting. Amazing.

If you like wildlife paintings and realism, you don't want to miss this artist.

Now I have to get back to work to get ready for the show in Magdalena:

The Old Timers Festival is the setting for Jo's fifth annual artist reception at Peppers Art Gallery, 100 E 1st., Magdalena, New Mexico, 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2007. Wine and cheese will be served. This is a great chance to meet Jo and see her new pastel and acrylic paintings.
