Happy Birthday, Christy!

Happy Birthday, Christy!

Can you believe I almost forgot our granddaughter's birthday. Well, we didn't forget the birthday, but I forgot to post about it on my blog until now. Shame on me.
Note below added March 7, 2008

Here is a piece of a painting she did when she was about 10. Oils on canvas. It wouldn't fit on the scanner so until I can take a photo, this will have to do. She is quite talented and will be an artist one day. She is a musician and was in band and all the band activities in high school. We won't tell the lady's age now, she is in her first year of college! Wow, doesn't seem possible. She is sweet, loving and our favorite granddaughter!

Only a few more minutes of the actual birthday left for her.

Again, Happy Birthday Christy!!! Best wishes for a great year.

Hugs....

Note* It is also the birthday on March 5 of Donna, my niece. She lives in New Mexico and has a great family, too. Happy Belated Birthday, Donna!

Jo: She definetly got her grandmother's talent. The painting is really special for a 10 year old.

Joanna, Yes, it would be fun to be there and sing a little of the Happy Birthday song........Christy would love that. LOL

All Pisceans are natural artists and with your encouragement, even more so.

Jeanette, interesting observation. Thanks.

Being a Piscean myself I might agree with Jeanette. Hope your grand-daughter had a great birthday - she sure is talented!

bag blog, little did I know? Huh? I wondered about you. :)

Along the Piscean line, I guess I should mention that my mother was a Piscean and an artist, too. I guess as a Virgo, I tend to work hard at it. :)
