Another Birthday....
Actually my Mom's birthday. She was born in 1905, one of nine girls on a homestead, in New Mexico. She was one of the "cowboys" as they all had to be. Riding, roping, building fences, cooking, washing, all the typical jobs on a ranch. Her next older sister, Bessie, told me that my Mom was a dreamer. She always worked hard. She was a bookkeeper at the local mercantile. You can read a little more about her on my blog and on my web page.

Great photo! Life as a cowgirl in NM must have really been something.
bag blog, being a cowgirl in New Mexico is still something! Such large space to cover as it is acres per cow and not cows per acre.... :)Lots of area to find and care for the cattle.
