Thanksgiving in Kentucky was great. Of course I haven't done much art. I started a portrait workshop on wetcanvas.com today, so will post the progress in that. All participants are painting "Julie" in pastels. I am not a portraitist, but who knows. They say if you can draw one thing you can draw anything. We shall see.
These are the two trees we bought at the Festival of Trees. The Patriotic Tree went to Kentucky for David's new basement. The Bluebonnet tree will stay here. We have been trying to get a painting from each of the Bastrop Fine Arts Guild artists. This makes a dent in the number. :) We have many to go, though. There are many paintings on the tree. You can check out who created them on my web page, under Festival of Trees. There were other items as well. Porcelain angels, pottery ornaments, photographs, etc. Nice gifts under the tree, jewelry, paintings, photographs and more.
