I sketched a bit more, the kids went to the playground and found some shells in the dry lake bed so now I have some small sea shells, too. Hmmm.
For Scavenger Hunt 138 https://creativespark.art/threads/scavenger-hunt-from-life-138-nov-19-27.7435/
Number 6 wheel - a little monster Bat-mobile
Number 7 pumpkin or pineapple
The great grands were so pleased to have provided me with items for the Hunt. The rocks, wheel and pineapple were all their "finds". They sketched well but have short attention spans like me.
I told Owen that he was Great Grandson #4. He said, "No, I'm 5 years old." I explained that Oliver was GGs#1 because he is the oldest. "No, he is not 1 he is 8 years old." I explained it again and he argued with me. He of course figured it out quickly but kept arguing with me about the ages and order of births. He is a curious and smart kiddo. I think in a way he is like Gene, will argue against anything for the sake of argument, like a debate team!

I love that the kids are providing things for you to sketch. That's so sweet! One of the women that I sketch with on Wednesday evenings usually comes with something to sketch that her 8 yr old daughter picked out for our theme.
Joan, thanks so much. I have been so out of the art zone. Sigh..... The kids are fun but have a very short attention span. We did a painting and they lasted through the background and put on a hand print and were done. Ha.
I am smiling at your great grandson - he certainly thinks for himself. Great sketches too. Glad to read you had a good Thanksgiving...now we get ready for Christmas - Whew such a busy time of the year. Hugs!
Debbie, hi. Owen is so sharp many other cute arguments we can tell. He watches everything and questions everything. We do have catching up to do for Christmas. Sigh.... Hugs back.
