Eat and Repeat Sketches

I finally got out the large Canson Mix Media sketchbook and sketched something I eat and a repeating pattern.  I used a few of the Ohuhu pens I have in a set.  Nice pens.  I have the Ohuhu mix media sketchbook and like it a lot, better paper than the Canson.  I mean it handles watercolor better.  I don't remember the cost for comparison in that regard.

Number 1 Something you eat or drink almost daily - I use lightly salted rice cakes for bread replacement as a gluten free option.
Number 2  Repeating design - in the rug.  Black, brown, reddish, tan and more

We have a couple more weeks of Home Health for Gene and hope then he can get back to PT at PT Solutions 3 times a week.  Once a week is not great and we didn't do too well while we had company.

Every day is smoother.  Can't decide about decorating for Christmas.  Hmmmm.

We still have lots of doctor appointments between the two of us. Gene is getting close to being the Six Million Dollar Man.  They put a heart monitor chip in his chest last Wednesday.  A regular monitor doesn't work with the Deep Brain Stimulators.  Hopefully it will keep tabs on him and is supposed to last for 2-4 years.  It has an app on his phone.  Can't tell if it is working at all.  We have a Telemed next Wednesday, maybe they can then tell us how well it is communicating.  They did it at the Heart Hospital in Austin.  Long day for a 15 minute procedure.  We left at 11:30 a.m. and with dinner on the way home we got back about 7 p.m.  We were at the hospital from before 1:00 p.m to almost 4:30 p.m.
