Mechanical - Kitten

You may know that I don’t do cats.  Kitten was on the list and I don’t even have a cat toy.  I did find this pottery whistle from Peru.  I have sketched it before when we have a cat on the list.  I liked it better before I outlined it.  I was mainly just trying the pens. I hadn’t used them in a while.  The set is Ohuhu pens, a set of 8 assorted nibs.

For Scavenger Hunt from Life 137  https://creativespark.art/threads/scavenger-hunt-from-life-137-nov-11-nov-19.7411/

In the large Canson sketchbook, about half a page.

Number 3 mechanical - pencil and Number 4 kitten - the whistle

I sketched out on the porch.  It was another beautiful day.

We had company.  Jennie came out and cooked Chimichangas for our dinner and left some leftovers for another meal or two.  Yummy.  Joanna and her friend, Spring, came by on their way to the Bugle Boy.  Ordinary Elephant is playing tonight.  I forgot to tune in as we were doing other things.  They came to Silver City years ago and we met them.  I had sketched some pottery elephants for the Hunt so that is a story.   https://jocastilloartblog.blogspot.com/2016/09/pastels-for-hunt-465-and-pen-sketch.html

Sorry we couldn’t go see them.

With all your stuffies I'm surprised there isn't a cat among them. Glad that Joanna came and cooked...and you even have leftovers. Sounds good to me!

Thanks, Joan. Yes, Jennie cooked and Larry came out this afternoon and we ate the leftovers, so two great meals. I’m getting lazy…..for cooking.
