Number 18, elephant - these pottery elephants are so cute
Number 19, beauty item and Number 20, quart of ??
Number 21, teapot and Number 22, lemon, lime
There are so many teapots, but these are on a bookshelf together so picked these three.
Maybe I will call the painting, Citrus and Veggies. I need to look at it a while and see about corrections and clean up.
Joanna sent us a message that some friends, Crystal and Pete - Ordinary Elephant, would be singing and picking at the Buckhorn Saloon in Pinos Altos, just up in the pine trees from Silver City. It is 7 miles and about 20 minutes on the curvy road. We decided to go and have our birthday dinners again. Wow! The prices have jumped, but it seems the people pay so they can charge. Dinner was nice but not that different from any nice restaurant. The steaks at Murphy's Steakhouse in Winchester, Texas, near Bastrop are half the price and twice as good.
The music, however, was very good. It was fun to meet Crystal and Pete. They are good and fun people so you will hear more about them here, I bet. I thought it was prophetic that I sketched the elephants after all. Gene framed the sketch and we took it and gave it to them. They were excited to get the elephants playing music and a gift from strangers. It made it all worthwhile. You can listen and get a CD here on their website: http://www.ordinaryelephant.net/
Hunt 465 is over tomorrow so I am not sure about sketching more or just starting the new Hunt. Stay tuned to find out.

I use to collect elephant things. The music elephants are cute and appropriate for your new music friends.
The veggie teapots painting is really nice. I like the colors and stilllife. It's a change from the scenery paintings of late.
very cute elephants :D and really neat looking teapot :)
Glad you did a few pastels...love the musical elephants. What a sweet gift. We are finally heading home on Thursday. Seems like we have been gone a long time. Ciao!
Bag Blog, thanks. The leap haunts were fun. I worked on the still life some more, the bell pepper is a teapot, too so. Changed the soot ion so it will look more like it. :)
Jennifer Rose, this is a house full of teapots. It was hard to choose which t sketch.
Thank you, Joan. We are getting close to going home, too. It was good to have time to take out the pastels.
