Waggin' His Tail

Animal was on the list for Scavenger Hunt 130.  Gene's little dog from the Expedition was on the counter.  I don't think I've ever sketched it before.  He must have brought in in a while back to change the battery and it is still here.  It wags it's tail when you pet it.  Pretty cute and at least 25 years old.

Number 5 animal - doggie on about 1//3 page in the large Canson Mixed Media sketchbook with the Micron 03.  Tan and white.

I sketched at my desk as the a/c is out.  The company has emergency hours on Saturday until 5 and we noticed about 5:30.  No emergency help until 1pm today so have an hour or so to wait and see if they call.  Irritating as we have some sort of service contract with them.  The house was 84º F and today it is about the same.  The outside temp is going to the high 90s today so we will see how it goes.  Funny we never had a/c in the old days.  So spoiled!  Not too bad with fans.  We will be fine and dandy.

Love the sketch of the little doggie. Hope the AC is fixed. How did we handle it in the old days? I can remember sleeping with my head at the foot of my bed and the door open to the hallway hoping that there would be a breeze from the window to the hallway. If I remember... it worked.

Thanks, Joan. Yes open windows and hope for a breeze. My folks would hang a bucket of water with a wet gunny sack around it to cool off the water for drinking.
