I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States.
This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.
It was nice enough to sit on the porch a while this morning. It has been up in the 100s for a few days so about 85º F at 7:30 a.m. I sketched on my iPad with the Apple Pencil and fingers. It probably took me an hour. Much slower than pastels or ink sketching.
Number 2 fabric - sock and pants Number 3 plastic - sub the soles are sort of a rubbery plastic?? and the aglets are plastic. My background looked more gray on the porch in the outdoor light on my screen. Guess it makes the shoes more colorful. This is my second pair of these shoes, I like them a lot. The first pair has the whole sole on the bottom pink. This pair the sole is black with the pink pieces on the edges.
We can always make substitutions on the Hunts. It is fun to see all the different takes on the items.
We went for our annual checkups a couple of weeks ago and Dr. Pompeyo Chavez (our amazing doctor) recommended I get my ears checked. Their system showed my right ear was a bit off. They did flush it out and today I went to have them checked. I passed with flying colors. I thought I was having more trouble with white noise but no more than normal. Maybe it is just because white noise bothers me. I get so calm when all the motors stop in the house at night. The a/c goes off, the fan goes off, refrigerator doesn't run, etc. I love that. So maybe I'm just agitated with the noise and that bothers more than my hearing when I'm around the "static". At any rate, happy to know I'm not needing hearing aids.

Good to "hear" that you don't need hearing aids and it was so easy to clear up your problem. The sneakers look fun with the touches of pink! I love how they design them with nice pops of color.
I Grew up in a small town , Magdalena, New Mexico. I enjoy art and the pleasure other people get from my work. I always donate some of my sales and art to charities, especially for children. That started in Bolivia with Para los Niños.
