Oil Change Day Sketches

Today we had an appointment to get the oil changed in the Escape and have a recall check on a door part.  Joanna always takes a photo of her feet while she waits so I decided in place of a photo I would sketch my feet.  It fits in the Hunt as "clothes".  Shoes and pants, right?

The Ford place ordered the part for the door and will come get the car, fix it and bring it back.  Nice.  We have two cars, but Gene isn't driving so they offer this service.

The only car I could see was about 2/3 of a pickup on the showroom floor.  Gene said, why don't you go look at the sticker.  It was a shock - $82,865.  Yikes!  It did look nice.

I sketched in the Canson drawing sketchbook, 5.5 x 8.5 inches with the Acurit 03 pen for Hunt 117  https://creativespark.art/threads/scavenger-hunt-from-life-117-june-4-12-2024.6915/

Number 8, clothing

Number 9, car - well 2/3 of a pick-up.

The last game of the Super Regionals, baseball, is tonight.  Weird regional between Georgia and NC State.  NC State won the first game on Saturday by a score of 18-1, then Georgia won the second game yesterday 11-2.  What will happen tonight?  The winner goes to the College World Series, one of 8 teams.  None of our Big 12 teams made it.   In the 4th inning it is NC State 4 and Georgia 2.   Hmmm.

I'm glad that you were able to get comfortable and sketch in the dealer's waiting area. I think that price is a bit of "sticker shock." lol

Jo your sketch of feet made me smile...just goes to show there is always something interesting to draw. I think vehicles with tires are so hard. You do a great job. Take care and have a delightful day. Hugs!

Debbie, feet make me smile, too. I did a series about 12 years ago. It was fun.
