Back to Pen and Ink

I needed to do a quick sketch today so back to pen and ink.  The item was animal or animal like.  My collection of stuffed animals is handy.  We don't have any live animals.

Number 12 animal or animal like - the love bear and feel better monkey hang on my wooden easel.  They have Velcro to keep them "holding on".

This is in the BookFactory sketchbook, about 6 x 8 inches, with a Micron 03 pen.

We watched the Puppy Bowl yesterday for the first time.  Very cute.  They had a streaker go by -- a hairless dog with a blur over it so you couldn't see.  Made us smile.  My choice for MVP was a feisty Yorkie but another dog won that was hearing impaired.  Better than the Superbowl in our world.  Our game day meal was left over Chinese.  Not so typical for football fans.  It was mentioned on TV that the most popular food now is chips and dips.  I would have thought wings or burgers and hot dogs.

Have a good week!

Love your cuddling animals! Cute!!

Jerry was very into watching the Super Bowl...me, not so much. I watched a few minutes of the start of the game and then caught the very end when Kansas City came from behind. I had no interest in the halftime show, but did enjoy Reba McIntire's version of the National Anthem. She didn't play around with the song, but just sang it with love and respect.

Joan, thanks so much. We just watched the end of the Superbowl. Sorry to miss Reba's National Anthem. I heard it was good.

R's Rue, thanks. Take care.

Love both your pieces and I agree with Joan, Reba did a great job, just sang the song with all her heart.
