Mirror, Mirror

Mirror is an item on the new Scavenger Hunt.  Any mirrors in the house require standing to sketch so, you know me.  Lazy and finding something handy and easy to sketch.

I sketched in the BookFactory sketchbook with a Micron 03.

Number 1, mirror - you can see my ear and what is behind me in my studio.  I did leave about 1/3 of the screen off - you expected that, right?

Our windows will be washed tomorrow so I didn't put up the tree yet.  Didn't want it in the way.  I imagine it will take at least half the day to wash all the windows in and out.

I need to get a few groceries and mail some stuff, maybe tomorrow.  If I do mail anything, I will go to Paige.  There should not be a line there.  If I wait until Tuesday, we can have lunch at the Roadhouse in Paige.  Hmmm.  Decisions, decisions......

Ah Jo your sketch of your ear made me smile. It sounds like you are busy getting prepared for Christmas - hard to believe it is only a week away. How fast it comes with each passing year. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas season and the best New Year. Hugs!

Debbie, nice to hear from you when it is such a busy time. I usually do the easiest possible thing. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.

This sketch made me smile. Like me you find it easier to just sketch some of the items from a fixed comfortable spot. If I'm sketching in the evening at home I am usually on the couch with my feet up. Sounds like you have a busy day planned for tomorrow.

Joan, thanks. I put down the cards for moment and sketched. Sometimes you just have to sketch!
