Sketching something green in watercolor for the Hunt. Leaves seemed a good choice to fill in the bottom third of the page with the water bottle and apple. About a 20 minute study.

Number 3, green - leaves
In looking back at the old sketchbook yesterday I re-discovered something. My style never changes no matter what new things I try. I can be quicker and more accurate if i apply myself. I can add in some of the new techniques like black shadows in the black and white sketches instead of hatching. Either way it is my touch that ends up in the sketch. So ..... have I learned anything? Hard to know.

It is your style that shows up with the different mediums. Nice look to the leaves. They look shiny!
