We made it to a new Hunt 71! Yay! Always good to finish a project and start a new one. We can't always do that.

Number 1, flower - with a challenge of several types of flowers. In the Canson mix media sketchbook, large, with Zig Millennium pens and Pentel Color pens. The geranium is hanging and the other flowers are wildflowers.
It is a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
The Longhorn baseball team is in Coral Gables, Florida, playing in the Regional NCAA Baseball Tournament. Both Friday and Saturday the games had rain delays for over an hour. Not much rain but lots of lightening. The Horns won their first two games against Miami Hurricanes and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. Those two teams play at 11 a.m. and the Longhorns play the winner at 5 p.m. for the Championship. Hook 'em Horns!

bag blog, wouldn't it be nice to sketch/paint together. We have still had some evenings on the porch but tonight it was about 90 at 730pm so not many of those until fall. We can still do early mornings. Keep hoping we will make a few more trips and get up that way.
