Digi Shoes

Gene was comfortable watching the news in his recliner.  I opted to sketch his shoes on my iPad with the App Brushes and my fingers and Apple Pencil.  I try to get a sketchy look and not take to long.  This was probably 30 minutes or so.  I have mentioned that it takes me longer to sketch digitally.

Number 5 shoe or shoes - Now that I see it here, I should have made the background lighter.  It was dark in the room.

His shoes are Kisik brand.  https://kizik.com/  They are amazing.  With his Parkinson's he can just slip on the shoes and doesn't have to use a shoe horn or tie them.  So nice and easy and comfortable.  They are holding up well.  I thought the heels might break down, but so far so good.

Nice digi of Gene's shoes. It is great that they finally came up with shoes that don't have to be tied and you don't have to use a shoe horn. I know there are a lot of people who can really use those features. Glad they are holding up well.

Thanks, Joan. Digital sketching is love/hate. Takes time and relearning when I don't do it often. The shoes are so helpful to Gene.

I didn't recognize Gene's feet :) If I don't lose some weight, I may have to get me some of those shoes.

bag blog, you made me laugh. The shoes look like regular shoes but a little generic. Remember Gene wore those shoes that have a place for each toe? These beat those. Ha.
