Watercolor Summery

An item on the Hunt this time was "something summery".  How do you sketch hot??  It was nice on the porch this morning so I chose to sketch out there.  The quiet was disturbed for a few minutes with the lawn mower going around.  I decided to go for that.


Number 12, summery - lawn mower in watercolor.  I took the photo and then added a small amount of ink.  I have a hard time with the direct, no definition look.  It was a good exercise to get some color with watercolor.

I hope to get back to the pastels soon.
