It is interesting to see the ideas and found items for Scavenger Hunt 679 of the phonetic alphabet. It makes you think. That is good and bad for me. Sometimes I like to have a list that just names some items like Book, Cup, Tree, etc. Coming up with something for Alpha and Zulu are not as easy.
Some of the artists are clever using Alpha for first ... first thing they saw. A fox figurine for foxtrot, an X-ray room and person waiting for X-ray in a couple of sketches. A triangle shaped box was found for Delta. Fun stuff.

I sketched in the big coffee table sketchbook with various pens and markers for color.
Number 2, Whiskey - a bottle of Gentleman Jack that Gene keeps on hand. I don't drink bourbon or whiskey but this is very smooth to sip on. I didn't have to think to find whiskey.
Number 3, Zulu - substitute a Kachina doll from New Mexico. It is about 7 inches tall carved of wood and painted with some feathers added on. We don't have any Zulu bead work and have not been to that part of the world, so used a substitute -- some thinking required.
I haven't mentioned much about baseball this season. Today is the last game of the regular NCAA Baseball season for the Longhorns. They are playing West Virginia. If they win, they could be the Big 12 champions or at least be tied with TCU. The Big 12 tournament is next week in Oklahoma City. We don't plan on going this year. We have been many times. We didn't go to any of the games this year. Watched on TV and the bad internet connections we have. We will stumble through the tournaments, probably mostly listening on the internet. Hopefully the Longhorns will go on to the College World Series and host a Regional here in Austin. Hook 'em Horns!
