Wet and Stickers

I sketched at the dining table.  I thought of sketching a Topo Chico bottle which we keep for Joanna.  I discovered it fit Scavenger Hunt 675.

Number 1, wet - a bottle of Topo Chico water, sketched with ZIG Millenneum fine line marker/pens 05.

Gene and I walked for a short walk across the lake and back.  We sat on a bench and watched the goats and waited to see fish but didn't see any.  The water is getting pretty low.

We did see some thistles which are big and awful but have such pretty flowers.  We haven't had as many wildflowers this year.  I saw a few Wine Cups but not in a good place for photos.  They are such bright magenta colors.

Purple Thistle

Thistle losing its seeds.

Too many thistles.

Yellow Thistles.

Love the photos of the thistles. I never see any to them around here. You are lucky to have such a nice place right there to go walking.

I've got to get some sketches done for the hunt. I've been very lazy and seem to be just sketching trees. lol Maybe I can find a way to squeeze them into the hunt. lol

Jennifer Rose, I always thought those thistles were typical of the southwest USA. They must have migrated here. :) They are painful to the touch for sure and have a poison like poison ivy.

Joan, the thistles have beautiful flowers. Maybe that helps to make them noticeable. I sketched yesterday and "made it fit the Hunt". Ha. You have found some beautiful flowering trees.

I had a bottle of Topo Chico water while at my SIL's house. It was pretty good. I've been meaning to buy some - to see if I would drink more water that way. But I haven't bought any yet. Probably won't help.

Bag Blog, the aerated/spumy water doesn't seem to quench my thirst. Joanna said the Topo Chico with lime is good. I have a hard time drinking water.

It was the Topo Chico with lime that I tried. It was good, but I don't know if I would drink it more often.

Bag Blog, I know what you mean. It's like I enjoyed drinking beer in Red River and never drink beer. I've had beer at our brewery, 602 Brew Pub, a couple of times just to say I've tried it. All in the atmosphere.
