Dull Hair Sketch and Spacey

I sketched in the waiting room at the doctor's office.  That is always dull and to sketch empty chairs now is extra dull.  I was determined not to sketch any masks, but decided to do the check in lady as she was the only person available.  These are very quick, I had no idea if I would be there more than 5 or 10 minutes.  That was about it.....  I didn't really sketch for the Hunt but these fit in pretty well.

Number 1, dull - same old, same old
Number 2, hair

We were busy this week with Roger being here.  He and Joanna finished the fence for Gene and I.  Mainly for Gene as he couldn't do it.  The weather was really good and we enjoyed the visit.   Roger put new screen on the porch and we all painted parts of it.  Looks pretty good.  We are having the outside trim and porches painted so wanted to get the screen done.  They washed the house already and waiting for the dry time to paint.  It is super humid today and cloudy.  Nice actually.

Gene and I will paint the plant and hummingbird hangers and get those back up.  We saw a hummer over the weekend.

Oops, I did not post the above.  I wonder why?

Now for today....

We went to the Texas Grill on Friday for breakfast.  I remembered to take my coasters so when my coffee came I just went right to sketching the cup.  When I turned it to pick it up I realized I sketched the same cup the other day, but in my little sketchbook.  I'm not sure if the memory problem is age, stress or just lazy.  I am guilty of all three!

Number 1, spacey - I spaced out and forgot I had already sketched this cup. It is on a coaster with a Pilot Ball Point Pen.

Here is the one I did the other day:

When I saw the cup had writing/printing on both sides I remembered I had sketched it already.  Well, now it is on a coaster.

Glad you got the fence done. You know me, if I was there I'd be sketching the event.

Sketching at the doctor's office lately is rather dull. Here there aren't usually other people waiting and the furniture isn't very exciting.

As long as they filled the coffee cup again I wouldn't worry about having sketched it the other day. lol That just goes to show we sketch automatically.

Joan, thanks for commenting. I would have sketched some but was cooking. I didn't even take any photos when they were working.
The only doctors office that was interesting was one a couple of years ago had a big fish tank in the corner.
After looking at my sketches, the cups may have been different or I left the heart off on the one today. The cup did have writing on both sides but I didn't read it since I thought it was the same.

I haven't used feedburner for a long time now, feedly works well for keeping blogs organized and up to date :)

Sounds like you had a good and productive time with Roger. Someday, I will have to meet him.

Bag Blog, Roger is the perfect little brother. We always have fun. Interesting to work together though. The four of us, Roger, Gene, Joanna and I all have the best way to do stuff! Roger is ambidextrous so good to have on the ladder. He can hammer with either hand. We did get it all done without too many deep discussions. Ha.
