Edibles Sketch

Reading over the Scavenger Hunt list for this Hunt (that I made), I found many edible items.  Eating, dining out, is a big part of our entertainment with live music shut down.  We were on the porch so I gathered a few items and sketched in the big book with a Micron 02.

Number 2, vanilla - This bottle is from Adams Extract made in Austin, Texas.  The bottle is empty.  I saved it as I'm worried that the company may shut down.
Number 3, honey - Some local honey.
Number 4, towel
Number 5, edible - pear (forgot to write that on the sketch)

Stay tuned for some pastel sketches/paintings maybe tomorrow......

Nice gathering of items, Jo. I'll have to search for some of these too.

Joan, this is one time where I let Gene eat the model. I don't care much for pears. Ha. I'm sure you will find something fun and/or different.

So when I'm right you first wash the pear and dry them with the towel to pour honey over it and then eat it?

Nice compilation, ... lovely subtle drawing aswell.

René, thanks. You will give Gene an idea! He will like that, sweeter pears. Of course he already eats too many sweets. :-)

I didn't know that Adam's Extract was made in Austin. Learn something every day! Nice sketches.

Bag Blog, thank you. I thought you were the teacher. :-)

Adams Extract was purchased a few years ago and are now headquartered in Gonzales, TX.

And, a friend of mine in Tulsa who keeps bees sent me some of his honey the other day. It's got a very distinct floral taste to it. It's very interesting.

Hi, Anonymous. Thanks for the comment. I think you might be Joanna, she was commenting on several posts tonight. The honey sounds interesting. Adams went from the city to the country. Interesting.
