It's that time of year again. The APS has a non-juried show every year in an exhibit area in Austin. This year it is online. That is good for the artists in the respect that we don't have to frame and deliver and pick up our art. I entered three paintings.
Red River View, 14 x 11 inches on Pastelbord, Framed with plexiglass in a 3 inch wide frame which makes the size 20 x 17 inches. $475.00
It is difficult in the respect that our patrons may have a hard time visualizing the difference in size and how beautiful the paintings are in real life. No matter how good the photo is, some of the personal connection is lost. Sometimes the strokes and nuances don't show or are over emphasized in the photos.
For example the panting Kay's Blossom is 7 x 5 inches and Siesta Time is 24 x 18 inches. Can you visualize these in your home?
My paintings are guaranteed to please. If you are not happy with a purchase you may return it for a full refund or exchange for a different painting.
In the meantime have a look at the APS show. You will see 144 fantastic works by 53 artists in different styles and techniques. All are pastel. I will remind you before October 24 so that you can vote for your favorite in the People's Choice Award.

Nice paintings, Jo. There are some really great pastel paintings in the exhibit, so thanks for sharing the link. I was all psyched to vote for my favorite and then realized the voting was only one day. lol
Hi Joan, Thanks for looking at the show. I like the ocean painting that is on the invite. Beautiful. I will remind you to vote. :-)
I always love your blossoms. The other two paintings are nice too. The "Red River View" brings back good memories of painting together.
Bag Blog, thank you. Yes, our painting trip for the Paint Out was such a good time. I loved being close to the horse stables and meeting your friends the day I painted this painting. Fun.
