I painted the calf and now this barn, red! You are welcome to paint with us, in any medium.
Kay's Barn, watercolor and ink sketch, in Canson watercolor sketchbook, 9 x 12 inches
It's a good thing the barn is constructed better than I painted it. It was definitely not that run down.

You paint a good barn. I think I may have to look at Wet Canvas again. Inspiration.
Bag Blog, Thank you. Don't know why I don't paint more barns. wetcanvas is inspiring. I am hooked on the Scavenger Hunts and feel guilty if I don't sketch so that has kept me sketching. It seems to be the groups. The pastel group, plein air and Southwestern are all great. Many of the artists overlap like Joan is in sketching, watercolor and journals I think.
How fun to see some of the old red barns you've painted in the past!!! These are great!
Thanks, Joan. You would think with as many photos as I have taken I would have as many barns as you have beaches. Ha.
red barns just make nice paintings :)
love the texture in the oil paint one :)
Jennifer Rose, thanks. The oil painting is the oldest probably. I love the effects but was allergic to linseed oil. I get out my walnut oil oils once in a while now. Don't like to wait for paint to dry. Ha.
