Scavenger Hunt 610 is well underway. The items are general instead of specific. It makes you think about what you will sketch instead of listing things like "a cup" the item might be "dark" or "exotic". Sometimes that is harder for me, too many choices.

Number 1, 3 or more zippers - this purse has 4
Number 2 and 3, tall and short - jelly jars
Number 4, dark - sunglasses
Number 5, light - a small flashlight
Number 6, quiet - Buddha
Number 7, two buttons - sleeve of my shirt
Mary, my niece, is here and we sketched the same items for the first 6. It is fun to see the difference of our styles in the same items. Mary's sketches:

really neat to see how different artists approach a subject :) what was she using to draw with?
Jennifer Rose, it has been fun to do the same items. It is also fun to see what the other artists come up with for the same item name. I'm pretty sure she was using a Micron 03 and maybe the tip of a brush pen.
thought it might have been a brush pen with her lines and textures she created :)
