Southwest Pumpkins?

Included in the Southwest and Western forum on wetcanvas for the October Challenge are some pumpkins.  The photos are posted by KreativeK.  The pumpkins caught my eye.  She took the photo in Ft. Worth, so guess that makes them "southwest".  There were more pumpkins in the photo, but I picked these for my sketch.

I'm just so impatient with the watercolors.  I have a hard time waiting for paint to dry for another layer.  I need the practice.

is not a very busy place.  The artists there are very friendly and we have a good time.  We have a general chat area, Around the Campfire.  There is the monthly challenge and individual posts of the artists work.  There is no critique unless asked for.  It is a good place to try something new or show off your best work.  A comfortable group.
