Cheers! Sketch

Cheers has so many meanings.  What came to mind first?  Drinking, sports, happiness?

I sketched in the big book with a new Micron 02.  Nice to use a new pen with no skipping or dragging.

Number 6, glass - the Red Neck or Bubba wine glass
Number 7, metal - a personal sized shaker for a martini or margarita

When I was sketching up close and big, they didn't look so crooked.  When you take a photo and see them small, what a difference.  I still don't like sketching in pencil first.  That is for a "drawing" not a sketch, right?

We acquired the shaker in Durango, Colorado.  We wanted a bartender to make us some Pisco Sours which are also shaken.  He couldn't do it because the pisco was not from their bar.   He felt bad and gave us the shaker so we could make them in the hotel room.  We were meeting a friend in Durango that we know from our years in Bolivia, hence the Pisco Sour request.  They came out great, by the way.
Here is a good recipe if you are inclined to try one.  We use simple syrup instead of the sugar disolved in lime, but that sounds good.  Maybe I'll try one later......  Need to get some key limes, though.  Those are best.

Jennifer Rose, thanks. We have two of the glasses. It takes more than a bottle of wine to fill them both. Not sure we ever really used them.
