Time for a new Hunt and new challenges. For Scavenger Hunt 566

Number 1, front door - looking at it over the couch and open to the porch.
Number 2 and 3 - inside and outside - a Pringles can. Terrible on the perspective but good enough to make me go find another can and have a few!
Sort of back to our normal here at home. Gene can't do much so is a little stir crazy and tired. To be expected. I can sit for hours and do puzzles and games and watch TV. He is antsy. We had a quiet Thanksgiving and on Friday had birthday for Jennie and a get together with the Texas bunch sort of Thanksgiving. We had pork chops and rice with red chile and tortillas. Always a good meal. We have green beans with it instead of pinto beans. Don't know how I started that tradition. Joanna made a chocolate cake for the birthday girl. I bought Neopolitan ice cream. Bluebell ice cream has real strawberries in their strawberry ice cream, soooo good.
I have watercolor homework for Wednesday. I ordered and received some of the right colors for making the color charts so will fix them up. I haven't done anything for the Southwest forum challenge so could do that in watercolor. Hmmmm.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Glad to hear Gene is making progress and feeling well enough to feel antsy. Sounds like nice family traditions!
Rose, thank you for checking in. We are doing fine here. Guess that is a tradition, too.
If Gene is antsy that is a good sign. Sounds like you had a nice Thanksgiving. I haven't been back to the hunts in a while...too busy with the shows I'm involved in. I keep thinking I'll check in and get too distracted. lol
Thanks, Joan, for stopping by and your nice comments always. This time of year is so busy and with shows to boot. Don't know how you find time to get out and about to sketch.
Toby and I recently had a stomach bug. I sat in my recliner or got in bed and just rested. Toby was a bit like a caged bear. What is it with men?! :)
I buy Neopolitan ice cream sometimes - especially for the grandkids so that they can each get different flavors.
Bag Blog, Gene says, "Just quit caging us!" Sigh... Glad it was just a bug and gone. My mom always liked Neopolitan. If you can get Bluebell you have to try it.
